CAT1 Standards

CAT1 is based on six essential standards:
  1. Operate common technology devices
  2. Perform basic file management tasks
  3. Apply troubleshooting strategies for solving routine hardware and software problems
  4. Use software productivity tools
  5. Use technology to communicate and collaborate through e-mail, Internet, and discussion groups
  6. Use technology to locate and collect information from a variety of sources

Each standard has four performance objectives. These objectives have corresponding performance measures. Please refer to the CAT1 Design Document for specific information.
